Thanks a mill for stopping by my website.

I am Emma McGreevy and I am a professional makeup artist based in SW London.

I love makeup and everything about it. The way it makes me feel when I put a brush to my face and highlighting my features, it gives me confidence in my own skin. A feeling that brings me joy and happiness.

I grew up surrounded by beauty and makeup. My mum was a beautician, she owned a salon for over 25 years and then went on to be a freelance makeup artist. She was always teaching me tricks and tips about skincare and makeup. Most teenage girls had posters of pop stars and boy bands when they are young, I tore beauty campaigns from magazines and put them on my wall. I was always drawn to the hair and makeup in VOGUE, Glamour and Marie Claire magazines.

I lived in Dublin for the first 23 years of my life and then moved to London. Prior to training as a Makeup Artist, I worked in the fashion PR & marketing industry. Working with magazines, London Fashion Week, bloggers, influencers, stylists and celebrity clients such as Millie Mackintosh, Rosie Fortescue, Laura Whitmore and Zara Martin.  It served me well when working with clients in tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. I come from a creative background in fashion but knew there was something missing and found my passion in makeup. I trained at the prestigious DFMA makeup academy in London under several top makeup artists and photographers.

I became a makeup artist with the aim of making my clients feel comfortable and relaxed in their own skin by creating radiant and beautiful makeup, while having a calm, supportive and warm approach.

My style and ethos revolve around creating fresh, radiant and soft makeup to accentuate the natural beauty of my clients. I feel makeup should be bespoke to you, your skin tone and type, seen rather than felt on the skin, ensuring a natural feel is so important to me. I understand and have the skills to create makeup that both photographs beautifully and looks wonderful up close.

My passion is bridal makeup but it isn’t where it ends. I am constantly challenging myself by throwing myself into exciting photoshoots, attending masterclasses by the top makeup brands such as NARS, MAC, Hourglass, Armani, Rodial, Bobbi Brown and Charlotte Tilbury to name a few and pushing boundaries by experimenting with new trends, styles and techniques I learn. I follow the world’s leading hair and makeup artists on social media and am constantly trying new looks that inspire me.

When I am not doing makeup I enjoy making pancakes, meeting friends and family, travelling with my boyfriend, exploring London or my old home town Dublin.
